Outstanding VA Refinance Experience with Swanson Lending Working with Todd Swanson and the Swanson Lending team was an exceptional experience from start to finish. As a former U.S. Navy Lieutenant, I genuinely believed I was not eligible for any VA benefits at all. Todd, a retired U.S. Marine Corps Warrant Officer (WO5), quickly proved otherwise. I first met Todd at a networking group and he has been my go-to mortgage broker for at least eight years now. So far I've done more than a half dozen refinances with him, and the experience is always wonderful. I've worked with other mortgage brokers in the past, but Todd is definitely more personable. Also, the team seems to keep my best interest in mind. For instance, I was told by another lender not to shop around and not to move funds between my accounts under any circumstances, while your team encouraged me to compare and get an understanding of the loan costs, and also suggested to move all funds into one account, so I don’t need to pay wire fees for each transaction when transferring funds to the escrow account.
